On Thursday 11 May, HG Bishop Daniel attended the Function for Friends of Thailand at Candlelight Reception at Punchbowl.

Attending the function were a number of the Thai people that have
played a role in establishing the church in Thailand. These are:
Mr Chukapong, Ms Aimee Chu (the speaker), Mr Peter Max.

The group is now back from Thailand after a very successful and fruitful trip.

Through the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the prayers of His Holliness Pope Shenouda III and His Grace Bishop Daniel, Fr Augustinos departed from Sydney on Saturday 17th April 2004 with 17 youth of the Diocese of Sydney. The aim of this trip is to help establish the newly acquired house and the Coptic Orthodox church in Thailand.

It is through the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessings of His Holiness Pope Shenouda III that the Diocese of Sydney and its Affiliated Regions is able to share with you the schematics for the recently purchase property in Thailand .

Bishop Daniel met with the Australian Coptic Volunteers in March 2004. This group of people are planning to travel to Thailand to assist in the development of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Thailand under the guidance and support of His Grace Bishop Daniel.

In early March 2004, through the Grace of our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ and with the blessings of His Holliness Pope Shenouda III, His Grace Bishop Daniel was able to finalise and sign the contracts for the purchase of a building to become the first Coptic Orthodox Church in Thailand - St Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church, Thailand.
