Community Update – NSW Coptic Orthodox Board of Education Q&A

The Diocesan Board of Education conducted a pre-recorded Q&A (Saturday 11th November) addressing questions, and clarifying misinformation, regularly raised by concerned parents and parishioners, respectively.

Answering the questions were Fr Joshua Tadros, Papal Legate to the Diocese of Sydney & Affiliated Regions; Ross Nassif, Chair of the NSW Coptic Orthodox Board of Education; and Dr Lydia Moussa and Debbie Armanious, Directors on the NSW Coptic Orthodox Board of Education.

The session covered discussions around the historical ownership of the Bexley premises, possible legal ramifications surrounding building movement, and the consultation process that included conversations with the Parish Council, College Staff and Parents. Diocese support and future vision for the College was also covered, among other related topics.

Please see the embedded YouTube video below for the Q&A and Arabic Summary (Premiering at 7:30pm Sunday, 12 November), followed by the relevant documentation discussed during the session.
